scientists on the Forests of the congo Basin and other tropical basins of the planet in the fight against climâte change, from 5 to 7 September 2022 in Yangambi in the province of Tshopo,as aprelude to the Preparatory Works of the 27th conference of the Parties to the united Nations Framework convention on climate Change, COP27.
As a reminder, the forum of scientists aims to put in place strategies to protect the world’s tropical basins in the era of climate change, with regard to the current direct and indirect drivers of deforestation. The proposals made by the scientists will be presented to the delegates at the PRECOP 27Th to be held in October 2022 in Kinshasa.
