INTENSIVE TRAINING IN VEGETABLE PRODUCTION USING GREENHOUSE AND IRRIGATION TECHNOLOGY

Gordon’s Agricultural Organization-Uganda (GAO-UG) is pleased to announce its Intensive Training in Vegetable Production using Greenhouse and Irrigation Technology. This three-day program aims to equip participants with the necessary skills and knowledge to successfully grow vegetables using advanced greenhouse techniques and efficient irrigation systems.
This training is ideal for individuals interested in modern agricultural practices, particularly in vegetable production, and seeks to enhance productivity, sustainability, and income generation in this field.
Training Overview
• Duration: 3 days
• Cost: UGX 200,000 (includes breakfast and lunch)
• Discounted Cost: UGX 150,000 for young women and people with disabilities
• Payment Method: Payment should be made to Equity Bank. Participants must send the deposit slip as proof of payment.

Eligibility Criteria
• Must have a minimum of a Diploma in General Agriculture or a related field.
• If a farmer, must be a vegetable farmer who is eager to learn and apply greenhouse and irrigation techniques on their farm, with at least five years of experience in vegetable or crop production.
• Be between the ages of 21-35 years.
• Should be physically fit for practical agricultural activities.
• Must demonstrate a strong interest in vegetable production as a source of livelihood.
• Be willing to abide by the code of conduct of the training centre.
• Young women and people with disabilities are strongly encouraged to apply and benefit from the discounted fee.
